ABOUT MARINA
Seems opposites are my coherence
India and Europe, psychology and spirituality, intellect and intuition, stillness and fire, detail and the bigger picture, mysticism and pragmatism.

I came to this work by a rather indirect route.
Ever since I can remember, I have tried to understand people. Much of what I saw around me from childhood onwards did not make sense. I noticed early how often people contradicted themselves in what they said, what they did and how they related to others. So I learned to observe carefully. And I never really stopped.
That habit of attention has shaped everything that followed – my work in communication design and consulting, my exploration of psychology and holistic therapies as well as years of spiritual practices.
Before moving to India, I spent more than fifteen years working internationally as a brand consultant and design director. The work was concerned with perception, identity, communication, aesthetics and the ability to recognise what is essential beneath a great deal of noise. My career took me from Hamburg to London and Milan to Zurich, Dubai and Munich, across creative studios, international consultancies and corporate environments. Living across countries and cultures gave me a good understanding of how differently we perceive the world and, at the same time, how many similarities we share as humans.
Alongside my professional life, I explored spirituality and trained in a range of therapeutic and contemplative modalities. I continued the enquiry that had interested me from the beginning: why people behave the way they do, what shapes us and what allows us to change. Eventually I left my role as a design director in Germany, dived into entrepreneurship and moved to India, where I married and made my home.
This was not a drastic transition from one world to another. The changes happened gradually. They included years of inner healing work, meditative practice, pilgrimages, considerable learning and some necessary unlearning.
My path has taken me through the dazzle and temptations of the corporate world, through toxic relationships and through the very real experience of betrayal and deception in the spiritual scene.
Today I live in the Himalayan foothills of North India. I have worked with seekers, CEOs, entrepreneurs, students, yogis, artists, therapists, consultants, medical professionals, teachers and people from many other walks of life.
Some of my background and training
Over the years, I have trained in a range of therapeutic and contemplative approaches, including clinical hypnotherapy and regression, meditation, trauma-informed coaching, family constellation, bodywork and energy-based methods. My training has taken place in Germany, India and internationally and has been accompanied by many years of personal practice.
Different modalities have informed my work, but none of them defines it. I apply what is relevant to the person and situation rather than working according to a single method or school of thought.
My earlier professional background includes a BA/Dipl. in Communication Design from the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, Germany.
My spiritual and contemplative education has included teachers and traditions from different backgrounds. Yet I am not affiliated with or representative of any particular teacher, group or organisation. It's simply not my path.
I value good boundaries and sovereignty. I am not interested in getting bound and I equally do not bind clients. I would rather reassure you of your own strengths and freedom.
